Saronic Gulf Cruise

Escape the hustle and bustle of Athens on a relaxing cruise round the Saronic Gulf. Three islands in one day!

Duration: Full day (with lunch)

In the morning you will be taken to the port of Piraeus to board your boat. Head across the Saronic Gulf to Hydra island where you'll have free time for a walk or a swim. Hydra is a beautiful island with a horseshoe-shaped harbour, the island does not permit motor vehicles so you will be able to enjoy a Greek coffee in peace and quiet at one of the numerous harbour front coffee shops or shop for souvenirs.

Your second island will be Poros, the smallest of the three islands, separated from the Peloponnese by a narrow strait. You will have around one hour here. Lunch will be served on the journey to Aegina. During your free time on Aegina you will have time to wander through the town and perhaps stock up on pistachio nuts, for which this island is famed. Alternatively you may wish to enjoy a cooling swim at the town beach or visit the ancient temple of Aphaia, just above Aghia Marina (optional excursion). You will return to Piraeus port in the early evening.
